2024 ENTERTAINMENT

Get ready to be dazzled because Peppermint, the sensational drag icon, is set to light up the stage at Westchester Pride, hosted by The LOFT on June 2 in White Plains!

Peppermint isn't just any performer; she's a cherished figure in queer nightlife, celebrated for her multifaceted talents as an actress and singer. Known for her magnetic stage presence, Peppermint's shows consistently draw sold-out crowds from across the globe. And with six albums under her belt, including "Hardcore Glamour," "Servin’ It Up," and "A Girl Like Me: Letters To My Lovers," available on all streaming platforms, she's a force to be reckoned with.

But that's not all! Peppermint has been making waves on both the small and silver screens, gracing popular TV shows and movies like the 2023 Netflix series "Survival of the Thickest" alongside comedian Michelle Buteau, and the hit rom-com "Fire Island" on Hulu, where she starred alongside the likes of Bowen Yang, Joel Kim Booster, and Margaret Cho.

Her star power extends beyond the screen; Peppermint has also captivated audiences as a contestant on OUTtv’s "Call Me Mother" drag competition series and as a guest star on Amazon’s "Harlem." Not to mention her stellar hosting gigs at the GLAAD Media Awards and the Black Queer Town Hall, where she's shared the stage with industry heavyweights like Bob The Drag Queen.

But perhaps most importantly, Peppermint is a fierce advocate for trans and non-binary rights. As the ACLU’s first-ever Artist Ambassador for Trans Justice, she's raised substantial funds for LGBT rights organizations and lent her voice to vital causes like HIV/AIDS awareness through partnerships with MAC Cosmetics’ “M.A.C. AIDS Fund” and involvement in HIV vaccine trials.

Recognized for her contributions, Peppermint has been nominated for prestigious awards such as the GLAAD Media Award and received accolades like the "Best Songwriter" title at World of Wonder’s Wowie Awards. She's also been honored alongside icons like Lady Gaga and Kehlani, cementing her status as one of the most influential LGBTQ figures of our time.
